God has called us to be leaders of our homes and sometime that can be very intimidating because we do not feel that we are enough.  Fear that the woman who knows us best will see us as fake.  This is all lies of the Enemy, as he does not want  us to do the things that will bring us into a healthy relationship with our wives, especially with God as the center.

This is not about being religious but rather about being an authentic man with integrity.  What you fear will paralyze you from loving your wife the ways she longs to be loved.  Praying with Amber, just short prayers about life has helped us but we now pray over everything together and We are seeing God doing only what God can do.  But it also has created such an intimate time for us that I would not change for anything.

Remember it doesn’t have to be a long prayer, just taking time to pray with her words of affirmation will build your relationship more than it was before.
